You’ll find great relief, get your power back, and likely generate some much-needed momentum in a positive direction while you’re at it.
Here’s the formula:
To “A.D.D.” to your joy, productivity, and bottom line, AUTOMATE, DELEGATE, or DELETE all tasks that don’t totally light you up!
DELEGATE – ex: The first HIRES you should make are a business assistant & home assistant. This may include bookkeeping, errands, childcare or admin duties such as data entry.
Unless you adore cleaning your house (does anyone?), hire that out too. It’s surprisingly affordable and there are oodles of people out of work right now who would LOVE to take that off your plate. I just found a new assistant through Craigslist and brought her on for 3 mornings a week from 10AM-2PM.
She gets food from the store. Ships packages off. Does light housekeeping. And even makes the bed!
DELETE – Plain and simple: If it doesn’t add value to your life and it’s not worth automating and delegating, ditch it. Say Buh-Bye and Adios!
