How to Embed Videos into Blog Posts, Emails, and Web Pages

Embedding videos is easy (and makes you look like a pro...which you are)

Embedding videos into your content is clutch. You don’t want someone to leave your site in order to watch something…you want as many eyeballs on your site, for as long as possible, as you can get.

The good news is, it’s now easier than ever to just pop a lil’ video right into a blog post, email*, or website.

The bad news is, it’s still a rage-inducing clusterf*ck if you don’t know what you’re doing.

*Be careful with emails though. If you use a server like Mailchimp, Infusionsoft, etc., your spam scores can go up and your deliverability takes a hit. Better to embed the video on your website, and then send users to that page via a link in the email.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to embedding videos, using two of our highest-converting offers, Get Paid Your Worth and The Overwhelm Eliminator.

Embed “Get Paid Your Worth (like this):

Copy and paste the code below into your editor. We like to edit in html, because there’s less of a chance for funky spacing and other hijinks to occur. But most WYSIWYGS (that’s the area where you edit web content, blog posts, and email copy) will accommodate the code below.

<script charset=”ISO-8859-1″ src=”//” async></script><div class=”wistia_embed wistia_async_bmplno6aeh seo=false” style=”height:360px;width:640px”>&nbsp;</div>

Once published, the video will live right in your content, like the example above!

Now you need to get your traffic to respond to the video by clicking on a call to action (using your unique affiliate link of course).

Log in to your Referral Partner Center. Go to Link Generator>Get Paid Your Worth Optin Page>My Tracking Link.

Copy that link and “hide it” in a call to action. Like this:

Watch Get Paid Your Worth Now! <– highlight this text, click the “link” icon in your editor, and paste your affiliate link in there.

Embed the Overwhelm Eliminator (like this):

Do everything exactly the same as above, but this time, use THIS code for the video:

<script charset=”ISO-8859-1″ src=”//” async></script><div class=”wistia_embed wistia_async_6lo7udm6mt seo=false” style=”height:360px;width:640px”>&nbsp;</div>

Easy peasy!
