How about Sedona? Being inspired by the energy vortex there….Now that would be powerful.

Could be cool for sure. I went to Sedona last year on a retreat and it was pretty dang amazing. Still gotta sit with it a little while longer. I’m leaning towards Hawaii at this point.
Thanks so much for your vote.Talk to you Wed.

If the second retreat will be in the summer, I would love to got to Steamboat Springs, CO. I taught at an arts camp in Steamboat Springs just after I graduated from college. My favorite thing about it was the open air dance studio nestled in the mountains. In the afternoon, when the air warms up, the walls of the studio can be rolled open and there you are dancing in the Rockies with the mountains and trees as your backdrop.

Sounds absolutely amazing, Kirsten. But since the retreat we’re doing in SC will be sometime in June, the “second treat” is technically the first, and will be in late Feb. So I’m not sure CO is the best spot for that time of year. I’m thinking Hawaii. At least that’s where I’m leaning towards right now.

Thanks again for your awesome input. Super helpful.
See you on the call next Wed!

I think we should go to Hawaii. It has spiritual history, a beach and is close enough to not cost a fortune.

The 2nd retreat should be at OM Yoga Center in NYC. The director is a prime example of what you talk about and a true inspiration. The studio is just gorgeous and peaceful, with yoga classes for all levels of experience. It’s in Union Square, NYC, the capitol of the world and a major yoga capitol. One can never, ever get bored in NYC!

Hey Amy. Super cool recommendation, thanks for offering it.
I just got back from NYC and you’re right, the energy there is off the charts.

I keep thinking that being somewhere in the desert would be really neat. At a spa with pools, meditation areas, yoga, luxury and relaxation! I have always really resonated with the desert.

    1. Kris
      says

      Nice, Erika. I like it.
A couple other people sent me some links to websites about some pretty cool places in the desert. Doing some research on it now.
I’m trying to break out of my coastal habit. I’m usually beach or bust! We’ll see if I can branch out bit.

A second retreat in Toronto, Canada.Lots of areas to be in the city: just for play, there’s Ward’s Island or the Beaches area; there’s High Park or Lakeshore areas. For conference areas: the Yoga Conference in Toronto is usually held at the convention center, but there are tons of gorgeous smaller locations sprinkled throughout the city. The historical buildings on the University of Toronto campus are centrally located and accessible. There are gallery spaces, community spaces and tons of independent cafes that also host some great spaces. In Toronto, there’s a lot to see and do beyond the conventional tourist concepts… it’s not all about the Eaton Center and CN Tower!

    1. Kris

Toronto is gorgeous. I’ve been there for a retreat myself.
Thanks for all the details, Chantel. Super helpful.

This is a very small step in the right direction. It’s nice to see government terrorists being replaced. What’s unfortunate is that the new &#a280;priv2te” terrorists will get their groping orders from the same scumbags that the government terrorists get theirs currently.Americans should take back their airports from the 60,000 scumbags currently on the public dole and tell the airlines to provide their own security. Afraid to fly if the airlines provide their own security? Stay home, you disgusting coward.

I wanta go to Ireland. I want to see the land, hear the accent and I want to do yoga in a castle or over rolling hills. I have never been before. But long long ago back when my dark hair and big blue eyes began my family lived there. So my vote is Ireland. Love your back yard.

Wow so freakin exciting…yoga, travel, and learning, what more could you ask forYou know Nicaragua is amazing, I have been there 3 times. It has a lot of heart. When I traveled there the first time, I totally trusted my intuition and so glad I did. Lots of peps said don’t go, it is not safe and that could not have been further from the truth. My sister, friend, and I went all together for a couple of month for a summer. Great beautiful beaches, loving people, and just a lot of character. We surfed, stay part of the time with host families, salsa dancing, and hanging out with the locals. It was kinda of a secret gem when we went in over 10 years ago, since than it has been discovered. San Juan Del Sur in Nicaragua was my favorite place by farSo many great places to see though so it will be fun to see what ya got coming.

Hi Kris!Omg, my life coach and I were just working together on all the things you mentioned in your video this past week! I love synchronicity! So, my bf is an adventure travel writer, and he is staying at the most incredible place in Hawaii right now, and I have been hearing about it everyday and how amazing it is! When he gets back on Sunday, I can get more details and email them to you, ie the name of the resort, pictures hes taken, etc. I just feel like Hawaii is such an incredible place of love and high vibrations, it would be a good place for the second retreat! Talk to you soon!Audre

    1. Kris

      Hey there Audre.
I always see synchronisities as a sign that I’m “on track” with the BIG ME. Fun perspective anyway.
Def send those deets on this magical place in HI k? Sounds perfect… and I’m leaning towards the West Coast anyhow.
Stay tuned for video 3 too, since that’s when we’ll get you all the details for the live preview call coming up––where we’ll start accepting applications for the first time. So excited for that.

So SC is one of my favorite places anywhere – actually leaving tomorrow for Hilton Head with the fam for Thanksgiving – so I would be perfectly happy to return to that area! But I also love Asheville NC, especially the Biltmore Estate. Amazing spas, vino, beautiful outdoors. A weekend with amazing inspiring women, getting completely pampered and blissed out, OMG this mama is salivating just thinking about it. I know youll pick a fantastic place!

    1. Kris
      says

Me too. Love it here. And my brother lives in Asheville. I’ve never been to any spas there though. I was so with you in your little visualization, gettin’ all pampered and blissed out. Now would that be from the yoga or the vino? 😉
This is going to be dangerously fun!

My 3 favorite places in the world:My home – Vermont Vermont is an amazing place because it is one of the most beautiful places in the world and people here are real.St John USVI – Has the most amazing snorkeling ever and beautiful beaches. It is an adventure just to get there and then paradise when you arrive.Italy along the Genoa coast – the spirit in the area is fantastic, beautiful, romantic, and the wine, olives and bread cant be beat.Light & Peace, Jean

    1. Kris

Vermont, huh? Never been. Have family there though. They just usually come down south to warm up and visit us instead. But I hear it’s gorgeous up there. And St. John’s… I do love me some snorkeling. Def looking for a place that’s easy to get a group of ladies around though, easy to get from airport to retreat location, etc. Now ITALY… YESSS. That would be absolutely Divine. I can see us now all sippin’ vino and doing some vinyasa’s. Oh wait, do those mix? 😉

      Thanks for your vote, Jean.
