Why I Resist Writing Blog Posts

But write them anyway

It’s no secret that I’m on again off again with writing blog posts.

That’s the first thing I divulge to new subscribers on the Abundant Yogi list. I tell them: Be prepared. I go in waves.

Because the truth is, I resist the shit out of writing and putting my guts out there publicly.

I also love writing and putting my guts out there.

Isn’t it kinda fucked up how we resist the things we actually really love?

I think it is. But it’s also just fine by me because it’s human and quirky and kind of endearing.

When I actually stop THINKING about writing and I just sit down to CREATE… it’s kinda magical.

Really what happens is I have a conversation with myself, putting words to paper (or to screen, in this case).

And if anyone wants to peer into that conversation, they can.

And if anything I say helps them – inspires or empowers them – clarifies something for them – OR even pisses them off in a “fire beneath them” sort of way…

BONUS. Additional mission accomplished.

And if what they might say back to me has the same effect on me, double bonus.

Ultimately I’m just doing this to refine myself and my work, and better serve the people I’m truly meant to serve.

As I do, I tend to naturally repel the people who don’t need any part of my work in their lives, while ATTRACTING and discovering more about the people who do.

Who knew “marketing” could be so easy?

Marketing rule #1: Be yourself.

Love to the moon and back,

P.S. If you’re already on my email list and you haven’t yet seen my ‘Removing Resistance’ video where I go much deeper into overcoming resistance (especially the resistance to marketing, money and business) and help remove the 2 biggest blocks keeping entrepreneurial yogis, coaches and change agents from fully realizing their most joyful and sustainably profitable career, go HERE to do that now.

P.P.S. Not yet on the email list? Go HERE first… then you’ll make your way to ‘Removing Resistance’ shortly after.

Hi VernI’m glad you liked the post – thanks for helping to inspire it You know I meant the sentence to read “the other side of the world” but perhaps “the other side of the word” is just as interesting and meaningful. What is the other side of the word like – on your side of it, not mine?Hmmm – that’s an interesting thought.Joanna

above, Chavez does not &#0sc8;exer2i2e” absolute power. But the second part, that he “has absolute, unrestricted control” is where it gets difficult to argue. Where are the checks and balances? Obviously, there must be something of that behind his recent retractions – even if they are of the nature of five steps backward, then reversing and taking just one forward. But then, who ever in this world had truly absolute power? There are real checks and balances that don’t exist on paper – just ask Julius Caesar.
