Thanks to those of you who joined us live on the Mastermind class today. We had a great call! Here’s a summary of what went down:
Hot Seat #1 (the only one): Kathryn Yogakat (an LDC student) filled out a HSPF (Hot Seat Prep Form) asking for strategic support on promoting her new Scoliosis ebook. This Hot Seat began about 14 minutes into the recording and was such a fun conversation because of how much progress Kat (<< what she goes by) has already made on her own. She’s got a mailing list of 450+ people, has sold 20 copies of her book, she’s got a working sales funnel (meaning she’s setup to make sales online) and she’s already begun researching various distribution channels and promotional mediums. In other words she’s 85% of the way there and has handled most of the really heavy lifting required to get her new business launched!
Kat’s specific questions were about creating a successful marketing campaign for her book that targets a wide audience and how to measure her results. We talked for 2 straight hours about this question and left her with an action plan over the next 3 months that felt doable and exciting. This entire conversation represented the core of what we’re all about here at AY. We hope if you weren’t able to be on the call live that you’ll take the time to go through this archive. There’s a lot to pull out of it whether or not you’re promoting an ebook online. The discussion on tracking, research, endorsements, selling, funnel sequencing, pricing, optimum selling strategies and I could go on –– will give you some great things to think about and act on. Especially the way we helped Kat get clear on her Point B and then work backwards to create a bridge from her Point A (where she is now) to where she’ll be on May 3rd (her point B).
And a big shout out to Stacy Scibetta for always being there to lend a hand to those in our community. Through your forum interactions and class exchanges, it’s so clear that you’re such a great fit for AY. Thank you for all you do for all of us! Alright… so make sure to mark your calendar for the very next Live Class which will go down February 10th. It’ll be the Taming the Self Saboteur class (TSS for short). And then on Feb. 11th we’ll be hosting the first quarterly Work-It Class in preparation for Valentines Day! Hope to see you all there!
